Rev. Victoria grew up in a small town in New Hampshire, where she attended her local congregational church. As a teenager, she sang in the church choir, actively participated in the youth group, and represented New Hampshire at the UCC’s National Youth Convention.
With an enduring love for children, Victoria earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. While teaching, she passionately engaged with her church, serving on the Christian Education Committee, the Outreach Committee, and as chair of the Pastoral Search Committee. Teaching second grade awakened a profound calling within her to become a parish minister, leading her to make the courageous decision to leave her teaching career. She earned her master’s in divinity from Andover Newton Theological School and was ordained by the United Church of Christ in 1998.
Since then, Victoria has served as a youth pastor and senior pastor in several churches across Massachusetts, before finding her home at CCCUCC in 2015.She is currently serving on the Nominating Committee and the WISE Committees for the Florida Conference of the United Church of Christ. In July Victoria represented the conference in Kansas City, MO at the national denomination’s General Synod.
Victoria radiates a deep passion for worship, believing that the Word of God is vibrantly alive in our world today. She creates interactive, engaging worship experiences that inspire worshippers to deepen their faith and understanding of what it means to be a Christian in today’s world. Dedicated to spreading the “Good News,” Victoria brings hope and the promise of the resurrection to our wounded world, encouraging individuals to connect the teachings of scripture to their everyday lives, fostering growth in their faith.
Celebrating the diversity of God’s people, Victoria warmly welcomes everyone to worship our living and accepting God. She believes that God’s love is vast and inclusive, embracing all into the kin-dom. As a welcoming church, she envisions CCCUCC engaging with the community by opening its doors, assisting those in need, and standing against injustice. This embodies how the Church today can carry the love and light of Christ into our hurting world, helping people build bridges of healing and hope.
